This tasty bruschetta has a light sweetness to it and is made with chevre and apple. If you are wondering what chevre is, it nothing but goat cheese.

Ingrdients:

1. Four tablespoons of Montrachet goat cheese (about 1.5ounces)

2. One apple, skinned and diced.

3. A quarter teaspoon of Mccormick's black pepper, ground.

4. A quarter tablespoon of ground thyme, cut freshly.

5. A quarter tavlespoon of spice islands oregano.

6. French bread, preferable Pane Toscana. (about 6 to 7 slices)

Preparation:

1. Switch on the oven and preheat it. Place the oven tray about three inches away from the heating coil.

2. Take a medium sized bowl and add in the montrachet goat cheese, mccormick's black pepper, thyme, diced apple and spice islands oregano. Mix all the ingredients lightly (toss) and keep the bowl aside.

3. Now place the slices of bread on the baking tray and then heat it in the oven till the bread turns goldish brown in color. Take the bread out.

4. Now evenly spread the goat cheese mixture over the top of the bruschetta bread slices and place it back in the oven. Once the cheese starts to melt your bruschetta is done. (takes about a minute)
